After leaving Gypsum Express Ltd. for what I thought might be greener pastures I have retuned. Not only that, but when I did re-join the flat bed division my brother Ethan came along with me too. It is my high level of confidence in the driver managers and operations staff, that makes me comfortable putting the future growth of my family in the hands of Gypsum Express Ltd.

The operations team has taken the time on several occasions to give me a choice of runs and various lanes to cover. My input has not been taken as a nuisance or interference but well received as a valued road warrior.

Lastly, my wife (also a driver) is very pleased with my home time too. Now that we have two small children I am able to be home with them more than we both thought. I would encourage any driver to apply and come to drive for Gypsum Express Ltd. It is a great company to work for.

I recently relocated my family back to the north east (Central New York) area.From my first contact with the recruiting department,(after my referral from a longtime Gypsum Express Ltd. driver) they took the extra time to assist me in the transition of my Florida license to a New York State license. The well organized orientation outlined the expectations of the company and operations, and my driver manager. I could not be happier. Another point I think all drivers would be interested in knowing is that the owner is a driver himself. Both in and out of the work place he is an open and approachable company owner and person. In a time when many companies are cutting back on employee benefits Gypsum Express Ltd. contributes more than 55% to the health coverage alone, another example of the culture promoted from the top down.

At this time, I look forward to a long professional career driving for Gypsum Express Ltd. From the operations and management staff to the human resource, safety & compliance, recruiting and driver orientation departments, everyone I have interacted with has been honest, respectful, and gone above and beyond their job title.

I came to Gypsum Express 3 years ago after working for 3 or 4 different companies over the years. The other companies were “OK” but I was looking for a company that had good communication and a company wide “Open Door Policy” from top to bottom.

There have been many occasions where I felt that my concerns were taken very seriously and even resolved with the best interest of everyone in

mind. I am a strong believer that if you treat the company the way you would like to be treated, you will be rewarded.

I feel that being able to drive new trucks and receiving a safety award each year as well, in the time I have been employed here, is a good indication that my company looks out for its drivers.

The only thing that I would like to see happen in the company is that our growth would allow us to get more East to West coast runs. I know the more we grow the better the chances of that are good.

I am looking forward to another great year with Gypsum Express.
