Yesterday, June 7th, employees of the Baldwinsville terminal participated in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge for the third consecutive year! The event brings together hundreds of businesses, and challenges their employees to a 3.5 mile run/walk. This year we had 17 employees participate in the race, and all of them finished with flying colors, despite the cold, rainy weather!
Of our 17 employees, here are our top five runners, and their final times:
Bryan “Red” Goodheart (Shop forman) – 25:00
Jason Mocyk (Driver) – 27:28
Mary Oonk (Human Resources) – 30:05
Matt Ward (Human Resources) – 34:45
Melissa Peck (Senior Accountant) – 37:32
In addition to these amazing times, Bryan “Red”, finished 262nd out of 5,600 runners! Then driver, Jason finished in 27 minutes and 28 seconds, averaging just over a seven minute mile! Just goes to show you that our drivers know how to “run” both on and off the roads!
Here are the other team members who participated in the challenge:
Mike Podolak (IT)
Tim Sheppard (VP/ Flatbed)
Bridgette Norris (Mechanic)
Candice Zaia (Payroll)
Connie Fitzsimmons (Customer Service)
Michelle O’Neil (Recruiting Assistant)
Cheryl Chapman (Operations Manager)
Kim Scaries (Payroll)
Tom Tadros (IT)
Jamie Rathburn (Billing Rating Manager)
Brian Bleau (Regional Sales Manager)
Melissa Orman “Tent Manager” (Human Resources)
We’re so proud of our employees for continuing to be a part of this event; it is such a great way to come together and do something healthy, while also supporting a great cause. Thanks to our team for always going the extra mile- you all make the difference!
